Flint-based Factory Two is a hive of sorts. Credited for attracting growing numbers tech-based individuals who come to discuss industry trends, try on innovations and check out new employment pathways, the center is known to swarm with activity when the right influencers are in the room.
The April 8 event promises to provide technology entrepreneurs and other members of the business community the opportunity to network, exchange ideas and, possibly, meet their next employer, according to Dan Kurin, the event organizer and tech coordinator at Factory Two.
CAD Fx, a third party application developer for mechanical productivity software, “will be culling the crowd for tech-savvy individuals to fill current openings, in addition to providing meetup guests with insight about Cad Fx products and services,” says Kurin.
Andy Watchorn, a National Instruments Account Manager and co-founder of Flint City T-shirts will also be on hand to discuss graphical programming for prototyping and testing, in addition to technology trends in his field.
The exchange is a part of Factory Two’s mission to act as a hub for innovation and inspiration by fostering an environment that enables all people to tinker, learn, create, and connect, according to Kurin.
Food and refreshments will be served to guests at the free Tech Meet-Up event which runs from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
