Technology entrepreneurs and other members of the business community will have another opportunity to network and exchange ideas Nov. 13.

The next Tech Meetup will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Factory Two, 129 North Grand Traverse in Flint. Guest speakers will include Athena McKay, of Flint Eats, Lie Njie, of Technology Peace Corps Association, and Dan Kurin, of TrueLight Express Photo Kiosk.

While McKay and Turin use technology in customer service, Njie is expected to discuss solutions for addressing a drug’s potency as a means to potentially reduce addiction.

The exchange is a part of Factory Two’s mission to act as a hub for innovation and inspiration by fostering an environment that enables all people to tinker, learn, create, and connect, according to Kurin.

The organization also offers low cost access to equipment from large textile screen printers, fabrication units, woodshop and laser cutting tools to its leading-edge sound lab, computer design and technology center, in addition to workshops like the upcoming “Django Girl” event.

Food and refreshments will be served to guests at the Tech Meet-Up event.
