Rather than chilling in front of the TV, try introducing opportunities to get everyone up and off the couch.

Kids need to be active at least 60 minutes daily, according to health and wellness experts at the Michigan Fitness Foundation. With so many of us spending more time inside, its important to find new ways to get our kids moving after school and during family “down time” in order to meet that goal.

A dance party is the perfect way to shake off the winter dull-drums.
